ATSAS 4.0 - projects!

ATSAS is the world most comprehensive and powerful program suite for Small Angle Scattering data analysis from biological macromolecules in solution. The suite is freely available for academic users upon registration. BIOSAXS offers various types of licenses for commercial customers.
See What's new in ATSAS 4.0 here.
ATSAS offers you to:

  • evaluate the overall geometrical parameters of your sample (radius of gyration (Rg), molecular weight etc.);
  • reconstruct the shape of proteins and other macromolecules in solution ab initio (i.e. based only on SAXS data);
  • build models using data from complementary methods (X-ray crystallography, NMR, bioinformatics etc.);
  • analyse oligomeric mixtures and flexible systems (including intrinsically disordered proteins).

ATSAS PRIMUS

ATSAS includes a number of programs with a graphical user interface (GUI) for interactive data analysis. A launcher is now bundling GUI based programs. More programs will be implemented soon. PRIMUS for processing of experimental data - just like CHROMIXS and PEAK it now allows saving of your work in project files. CHROMIXS now allows multiple peak selections in a chromatogram. It also features a preview for selected images, allowing for easier buffer identification.

Apart from its GUI applications, ATSAS included approx. 50 command line base programs, which now can be started from the launcher.

ATSAS Supported Platforms and Support Periods

ATSAS is supported for following operating systems:

  • Windows 11
  • MacOS (11.X Big Sur, 12.X Monterey, 13.X Ventura, 14.X Sonoma)
  • Linux (OracleLinux-8, RockyLinux-9, Ubuntu-20.04, Ubuntu-22.04)

Support periods:

ATSAS is sold for each of above operating systems for 5 years after the first release of such operating system. When this 5 years limit has been reached, support is granted for a maximum of 3 additional years. Example: Ubuntu-22.04 was released in 2022. Hence, we sell licenses for Ubuntu-22.04 until 2027. For the last licenses sold in 2027, we grant support for ATSAS until 2030.
